This colorful and flavorful salad is hard to ignore, or resist. Remember to dress it right before serving, so the vegetables and pecans remain crisp and crunchy.

 

Salad ingredients:

-1/2 red cabbage, sliced into strips
-2 carrots, thinly sliced
-2 kohlrabi, thinly sliced
-3 green onions, finely chopped
-1/2 container bean sprouts
-1/2 container sunflower sprouts

 

Dressing ingredients:

3 tbsp. Galilee’s Delicacy Silan
1/4 cup freshly-squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp. grated ginger
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 chili pepper, finely chopped
Salt, to taste

 

Topping ingredients:

1/3 cup pecans
3 tbsp. Galilee’s Delicacy Silan

 

How to prepare:

Mix all the vegetables in a bowl.
In a jar, combine all the dressing ingredients. Adjust the seasoning, to taste.
Pour over the salad and toss.
To prepare the topping, heat a frying pan and toast the pecans for 1-2 minutes. Add Galilee’s Delicacy Silan, mix for 1 minute, and remove from the heat when it starts to boil and thicken. Chop once cooled.
Add to the salad before serving.
